Vitamin D plays a critical role in reproductive health. It is important for both women and men who are trying to conceive and for women when they are pregnant. Deficiency of the vitamin is common amongst the UK population, and 70% of the people we see in the clinic are deficient. Our new, easy to use, one-a-day booster formulation is sprayed directly onto the tongue, and has been designed to provide additional support for your intake of this vital micro-nutrient.

What is it?

  • Vitamin D3 spray: 1000 iu (25 mcg / 25 ug) per spray. 3 months’ supply
  • Easily absorbed – vitamin D is fat-soluble, so it is in a light oil base
  • Easy to use – not a pill or capsule!
  • Vitamin D plays a critical role for both men and women during preconception and for mothers-to-be during pregnancy
  • Contributes to normal cell division, the normal functioning of the immune system and a healthy inflammatory response, which is necessary for the fertilized egg to implant.
  • Deficiency is common during autumn and winter when the sun is low in the sky, and even in summer due to the use of sunscreen.

Who is it for?

  • Anyone who does not get enough sun in winter and is likely to have sub-optimal vitamin D levels.
  • Anyone who has test results showing low vitamin D levels.
  • People who use sunscreen, stay covered up or stay out of the sun in summer.
  • During autumn and winter, it is likely that most people in northern Europe will have sub-optimal levels of vitamin D.

What’s In It?

  • Vitamin D 3
  • Oil base (coconut oil origin)
  • A small amount of vitamin E, which keeps the coconut oil base fresh

Vitamin D is obtained naturally from two sources: sunlight and food. It is, however, found in few foods and we get most of our intake from the action of sunlight on our skin. Compared with our ancestors we spend a lot more time indoors, wear more clothes and use sunscreen which lowers the body’s ability to form Vitamin D by more than 95%. Darker-skinned people, in particular, require at least five times as much sun exposure to form a given amount of Vitamin D as do those with lighter skin.

Vitamin D plays a critical role for both men and women during preconception and for mothers-to-be during pregnancy, contributing to normal cell division, the normal functioning of the immune system and a healthy inflammatory response. Deficiency of Vitamin D is common among people with inflammatory and auto-immune disorders. Free from artificial colours, preservatives, gluten and yeast. Non-GM. Caution: if under medical supervision seek guidance from your medical practitioner before using this product.
