FACE MASKS X 50 ( TYPE R 2 Approved )
Buy 1 get 1 free 25 pack medical grade facemasks.
Not all facemasks are created equally. Our facemasks from Protego are a 3 ply, medical-grade facemask designed to offer a high level of protection. They are a type R2 face mask. - Type IIR medical face masks are also splash resistant and are used in clinical settings to protect the wearer against splashes of blood or bodily fluids whereas type 2 alone do not offer this additional protection.
- 25 pack. Buy 1 get 1 Free (50 in total. Please note they may be sent in 1 single box depending on availability.
- Great fit, includes a noseband.
- Bacteria Filtration Effectiveness > 98%
- Particle Filtration Effectiveness > 98%
- Helps to protect you from asymptomatic carriers
- Protect the community
- Free from chemical smells
- No residue left from the manufacturing process.
- Complies with EN 14683 European standards for facemasks.
What's the difference between Type 2 and Type R 2 Facemasks?
Type II medical face masks are recommended as a means of source control, i.e. they decrease the transmission of a virus by preventing the spread of respiratory droplets produced by coughing or sneezing.
Type IIR medical face masks are also splash resistant and are used in clinical settings to protect the wearer against splashes of blood or bodily fluids.
A properly worn 3 ply surgical face mask may help block transmission of large-particles microorganisms from droplets, sprays, splatters and splashes. This mask may also reduce the likelihood of hand to face contact.
How to put on your facemask.
1.Wash your hands for 20 seconds,
or rub your hands together
thoroughly with minimum 70%
alcohol- based hand sanitizer
2.Position the colored side of the
mask outward, ensure the nose
band is on the top. Put on the
face mask
3.Press to the nose band on
both side of the nose bridge
for a better fit
4. Pull the bottom of the mask
over the mouth and chin
how to remove your face mask:
1.Wash your hands for 20
seconds, or rub your hands
together thoroughly with
minimum 70% alcohol- based
hand sanitizer
2.Dispose of the used
mask in a closable bin
Wash your hands for 20
seconds, or rub your hands
together thoroughly with
minimum 70% alcohol- based
hand sanitizer
3.Remove the mask by unhooking
both ear loops. Avoid touching
the front of the mask. If you do,
perform the hand hygiene
*Avoid touching the mask while using it,
as it might have pathogens on it. if you
do, clean you hands with minimum 70%
alcohol- based hand rub or wash hands
with for 20 seconds soap and water.
Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE)
and Differential Pressure (Delta P) Final Report
Test Article: LOT: 200319
Product Code: PRO101
Study Number: 1300827-S01
Study Received Date: 18 May 2020
Testing Facility: Nelson Laboratories, LLC
6280 S. Redwood Rd.
Salt Lake City, UT 84123 U.S.A.
Test Procedure(s): Standard Test Protocol (STP) Number: STP0004 Rev 18
Deviation(s): None
Summary: The BFE test is performed to determine the filtration efficiency of test articles by comparing
the bacterial control counts upstream of the test article to the bacterial counts downstream. A suspension
of Staphylococcus aureus was aerosolized using a nebulizer and delivered to the test article at a constant
flow rate and fixed air pressure. The challenge delivery was maintained at 1.7 - 3.0 x 103 colony forming
units (CFU) with a mean particle size (MPS) of 3.0 ± 0.3 μm. The aerosols were drawn through a sixstage,
viable particle, Andersen sampler for collection. This test method complies with ASTM F2101-19
and EN 14683:2019, Annex B.
The Delta P test is performed to determine the breathability of test articles by measuring the differential
air pressure on either side of the test article using a manometer, at a constant flow rate. The Delta P test
complies with EN 14683:2019, Annex C and ASTM F2100-19.
All test method acceptance criteria were met. Testing was performed in compliance with US FDA good
manufacturing practice (GMP) regulations 21 CFR Parts 210, 211 and 820.

~40 cm2
BFE Flow Rate: 28.3 L/min
