The segments below are already included with your purchase, you do not need to purchase additional segments unless you want to extend them later.

• Size 103cm to 112cm: The main gate segment + 1 x 10cm + 1 x 20cm extensions ( gate sits to one side)

• if you need a larger space later extensions are available to purchase separately.

• The diameter of the fittings cups is 4cm

• The fitting cups are spaced out as follows. Please ensure you have a flat, rigid & stable space on top and bottom to fit the cups.

This pressure-fit baby safety gate has a double locking system at both the top & bottom with a 2-action opening process – press the button & lift at the same time. The Babasafe pressure fit has an additional feature that serves as the ultimate deterrent against tiny hands attempting to manipulate the latch. Unlike conventional gate handles, ours is intentionally designed with dimensions that thwart toddlers' attempts to grasp and open, ensuring that only larger adults can easily operate the gate with a firm grip.

Fits wide openings

Our gate offers an adjustable width ranging from 103cm to 112cm, ensuring compatibility with a wide array of openings. However, we emphasize that while our gate is incredibly versatile, it's not a one-size-fits-all solution. Choosing the correct size is paramount to maximizing both safety and functionality.

Single Handed Operation & Auto close

You can walk through this pressure fit baby safety gate operating the lock with one hand only with our auto-close feature, the gate automatically swings shut after you pass through, eliminating the need for manual intervention.

Easy to Fit/Screws no screws.

The babasafe pressure fit couldn’t be easier to fit and in many cases does not require screws thanks to our extra-strong adhesive wall cups. Please note that if there is no a flat/secure fixing surface for the adhesive wall pads screws must be used.

Bannister Adaptor Kit available.

Designed with convenience and flexibility in mind, our Y spindle enables seamless installation of the safety gate onto spindled banisters and rounded shapes, expanding the gate's compatibility. Please note we do not recommend this type of gate for the top of stairs due to the hazard of the trip bar. If you require a gate for the top of the stairs please contact us for options.

WARNINGS :

• Must be fitted between sound, rigid surfaces such as plasterboard, timber, brick or metal and secured always with wall cups. This product must never fit on glass. To properly install your safety barrier, choose a sturdy and secure opening, ensuring the surfaces are dry, solid, and clean. When fitting adhesive pads for wall cups, apply pressure for 1 minute to enhance adhesive development and bond strength, and leave for 1 hour before fitting the gate. If any movement occurs afterwards, utilize wall screws. Select the appropriate fixings based on the surface: wooden screws for wood, multi-use plug and concrete screw for concrete, plasterboard wall plug and screw for plasterboard, and metal screw for metal surfaces.

• If using this product at the top of the stairs screws should be used in addition to the adhesive wall cups for additional safety.

• This safety gate relies on maintaining pressure on each side of the wall fixing. Before you use this product check whether the product is loose and if it needs to be tightened. Do this on a regular basis. Make older kids and adults aware of the position of the product to avoid unintentional /high-impact collision which may cause the gate to fail. Take extra care if using the gate at the top of the stairs.

• Check the gate is closed properly each time you shut the gate.

• The pads on this product use an extra strong adhesive. To remove some heat should be applied for a period of time ( example: hairdryer) to soften the adhesive for easy removal. Failure to do so may result in damage to the fixing surface.

• This product has been designed for use with children from 6 to 24 months of age, however, this is dependent on individual development, and it may be appropriate to stop using at a younger age. Stop using this product if your child can climb it. This product doesn't guarantee the prevention of all accidents, so be mindful of hazards when children of any age use or climb over it. This gate as an automatic closing system. Never allow swinging on the moving section, and be cautious of trapping small fingers or limbs when operating the gate. Sharing these instructions with all users promotes safe operation. Never leave children unattended while using this product. Do not put any goods which can be grabbed by children or pets near this product to prevent injury.
